Shannon Dowdle is a 20-year-old currently Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City campus. She enjoys training her 3-year-old filly, Dandy Candy among other things such as barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping, team penning, team sorting, cattle drives and trail riding.

The "Miss 101 Wild West Rodeo" title has a very special meaning to Dowdle. "Born with my great western heritage that I have so much pride in, I have seen how much the sport of rodeo has changed over the years. I fell, as Miss 101 Wild West Rodeo, I will have the opportunity to teach  and preserve not only the sport of rodeo, but the lifestyle that I have grown to love.

They say that true cowboys and cowgirls are a dying breed. I'm here to prove them wrong. Not only are we not a dying breed, but the great American sport of rodeo and the people who run it will traditionally live on," Dowdle said.

Falisha Moser is an 18-year-old senior at Sharon-Mutual High in western Oklahoma. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, fishing, playing basketball, track, riding my horses for pleasure, cheerleading, officer of FHA and class officer.

The busy high schooler is also listed in Who's Who Among American High School students during her sophomore and junior years.

"I picked the 101 Wild West Rodeo as my rodeo to run for queen. The reason is because of the history of the 101 Ranch and the 101 Wild West Rodeo. Also, because I feel this is the top rodeo in the state of Oklahoma. It would be my honor and privilege to represent the 101 Wild West Rodeo at all rodeos and communities to tell of the history of the rodeo and the Ponca City community.

Megan O'Neill is an 18-year-old college student, after early completion of high school. The resident of southeast of Ponca City on South 8 Mile Road, O'Neill finished high school at the semester and began college work at Northern Oklahoma College, and will be attending NOC this year to finish her pre requirements for veterinary school.

O'Neill enjoys fishing, riding horses, riding four wheeler and . taking care of animals. She also enjoys studying World War II history, cooking, spending time with family and friends.

"I would like the title of 101 Wild West Queen to educate the public about professional rodeo. As queen, I would work to promote all aspects of professional rodeo. In addition, I would also work to educate the public of the history that lies in the 101 Wild West Rodeo. It is a part of the past, a part of the present, and a part of the future," O'Neill said.

Stacie Schneeberger is an 18-year-old area cowgirl, who lives northeast of Ponca City on Kildare Road.

"I want to hold the title of 101 Wild West Rodeo Queen because it would give me a chance to promote not only the rodeo but the pageant and sponsors as well. I would have the opportunity to meet new people and go different places representing the 101 Rodeo," Schneeberger said.

Crystal Sloan is a graduate of Pioneer High School, and the 19-year-old Enid resident is attending Northern Oklahoma College-Enid.
