WE REQUEST THAT NO CANDY, GUM OR ITEMS BE THROWN FROM YOUR ENTRY INTO THE STREET. IF YOU WISH TO DISTRIBUTE THESE ITEMS, YOU MAY DO SO, BY WALKING ALONGSIDE YOUR ENTRY VEHICLE AND THROWING IT TOWARDS THE CURB. THIS IS DONE TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS. Our 2019 Parade Marshall is the late ProRodeo Hall of Fame Steer wrestler Bill Picket. Pickett’s family is being represented by Dannie Anderson, Gerald Anderson and Nekoye Anderson. Bill Pickett was born in 1870 and is credited with founding bulldogging or steer wrestling, as it is know today. He was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 1989.
